CERVIRON ADJUVANT WITH OTHER THERAPIES
CERVIRON® is indicated as an adjuvant in antibiotic and antifungal treatments, helping to restore vaginal flora balance and maintain a normal vaginal pH, thus supporting the effectiveness of antibiotic and antifungal treatments.
According to clinical studies, the use of CERVIRON® demonstrated a significant improvement in symptoms such as leukorrhea, pruritus and burning sensations after a 3-month treatment. An improvement in the appearance of the cervix at colposcopy was also observed, indicating efficacy in the management of symptomatic cervical lesions.
CERVIRON® is an excellent, safe, and effective treatment, adapted to the needs of patients, whether used as a standalone therapy or in combination with oral or local treatments with antibiotics, antifungals, or antivirals.
CERVIRON® can be used, in association with a specific medicinal treatment, in the treatment of symptoms of vaginal infections with:
- Gardnerella vaginalis
- Trichomonas vaginalis
- Candida albicans
- Fungal cells and filaments
CERVIRON® is administered one ovule intravaginally, preferably in the evening before going to bed or according to the medical prescription. The use of ovules begins on the first day after menstruation. The duration of administration is 10 or 15 days per month, or according to the doctor’s instructions. The effects can appear after the first month of treatment. Usage can be repeated for several months until healing, or to consolidate and maintain the favourable effects obtained.
